Casea’s Values & Ethos

  • Casea is well impacted by her studies and the teachers & mentors that have helped her along.

In 2019, Casea received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies: Global Security & Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In 2020, she studied yogic philosophy in Rishikesh, India at Alakyog Yoga School with Yoga Chandrakant, Vikas Ji, and Manmohan Rupal Ji. She is a certified 200-hr yoga teacher, and has continued her yogic studies with Soul Work.

Casea studied to be a community birth & postpartum advocate with Our Earth LLC in 2024, and has received ongoing support & mentorship from Our Earth’s founder Tintawi Kaigziabiher, and somatic archeologist & birth keeper Tauz TamuPovi.

Casea is currently studying with Cornerstone Birthwork to further her Doula and Postpartum care work. She is also engaged with Liberation Mystery School with Rev. Briana Lynn.

Casea’s mentors also include Sunday Law, a powerful advocate for autonomous birth in New Mexico.

It is priority to Casea to have teachers, mentors, and relations that encourage growth & accountability, and provide ongoing support in caring for our birthing people.

  • Casea believes in birth autonomy and body sovereignty for all beings. Her practice is rooted in the belief that all persons have the right to reproductive choice. Casea supports and advocates for diverse family structures & cultural practices, and is continuously looking at the ways oppressive systems such as white supremacy, colonization, capitalism, and patriarchy impact marginalized communities.

Casea acknowledges that Black and Brown folks are disproportionately impacted by reproductive injustices, and that the medical industrial complex has historically abused people of the global majority (non-white people).
